A man wanted in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old has been named on Europe's 'most wanted' list.

Shane O'Brien, 29, is the chief suspect following the unprovoked attack on Kingsbury man Josh Hanson, who was stabbed in the neck at a bar in Eastcote in October 2015.

Mr O'Brien was arrested in February 2017 in Prague for criminal assault and assault but used an Italian alias of Enzo Mellonceli, supported by false documentation, and was bailed by police. He has not been seen since.

A £50,000 award has been offered by police for information about Mr O'Brien's whereabouts and his name has now appeared on the Europol list of the continent's most wanted fugitives.

Mr Hanson, a former pupil at Moss Hall School, Finchley, was with his girlfriend, Lucy, and friends, when he was attacked at the RE Bar in Eastcote in the early hours of October 11. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 'Justice for Josh' Facebook page has been set up since his death where his mother, Tracey, has fought not only for justice but awareness of knife crime.
