A restaurant diner threw an object at a waitress after she was denied a refund in a "vicious" racially aggravated assault.

The woman had just asked for her money back at JRC Global Buffet in High Street, Watford, on Wednesday May 2 at around 8pm.

But when she was told this would not be possible, she threw an object and threw it at the victim, causing injuries to her wrist and arm.

Hillingdon Times:

Police have now released CCTV footage of a woman police would like to speak to in connection with the assault.

PC Kat Murray, who is investigating, said: "This was a vicious attack and I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the restaurant at the time of the incident and who may have seen what happened or anyone who can identify the woman pictured as I would like to speak with her as part of my investigation."
