Volunteers throughout the community will enjoy a sizzling night of summer fun for a major charity for people with life-limiting illnesses.

On June 15, the Ladies in the Night Walk makes a welcome return to support the Michael Sobell Hospice in Northwood - this time with a carnival twist.

Participants will meet at the Michael Sobell Hospice, at Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood, at 10pm before setting off on the 10-mile or 5.5-mile routes available.

Michael Sobell Hospice have said the event is open to all, including men, women, children and four-legged friends too, and participants are welcome to dress up for the occasion.

Michael Sobell Hospice is run by East and North Hertfordshire NHS and jointly funded by the NHS and the Michael Sobell Hospice Charity.

The hospice provides specialised end of life care and support to local people, their families, friends and carers.
