One lane is still shut on the M25 anti-clockwise after a crash yesterday (Tuesday).
It was closed for a number of hours between j16 for the M40 and j15 for the M4 following a crash between a lorry and a blue car.
One person was injured and there were no reports of anyone trapped, according to Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.
There were also reports of a diesel spillage on the road which is why work continues on the carriageway today.
A picture taken at the scene showed at least one car on the hard shoulder with almost the entire vehicle destroyed while a green lorry had jackknifed across the carriageway.
There are long queues anti-clockwise this morning from j18 round to j15.
Anyone heading to Heathrow Airport is advised to leave extra time.
