PAUL Ross, the talkRADIO presenter, opened the RSPCA's new charity shop on Station Parade, Denham Green, today (1).

A resident of Hillingdon and regular visitor to the RSPCA Hillingdon shop, Paul brought along St Bernard rescue dog Valentine to help him with his duties!

He joined centre manager Kelly Bul, and shop trustee Julie White-Cole as they cut the ribbon and welcomed their first customers through the doors.

Paul said: “I come from a family of animal lovers, so I’m thrilled to be asked to help a charity that carries out such vital work every day of the year.

"I’m the eldest of six in my family, and we all have dogs, including Jonathan, who has several!”

Completely independent and self-funded, the RSPCA branch currently has a clinic and shop based at Crescent Parade, Hillingdon, plus further charity shops in Cippenham near Slough and Ashford in Middlesex.
