MORE than 600 walkers took on the annual Ladies in the Night walking challenge in aid of Michael Sobell Hospice on Friday night.
It’s an event which first began in 2010 and walkers of all ages and abilities (including a number of four-legged friends) wore bright orange T-shirts and bunny ears as they took to the streets of Northwood, Eastcote and Ruislip for either a 5.5 or 10-mile walk.

This year, all money raised will support the hospice day centre, based on the Mount Vernon Hospital site.
In the build up to the event, live carnival music was provided by steelpan soloist Dex Marchan, male carnival dancers, music from Radio Mount Vernon and a warm-up hosted by Clubbercise Watford.
