MORE than 10,000 primary school children, mums and dads and school staff are getting behind the first Lark in the Park on July 6.
The aim is to raise at least £10,000 for Save The Children with the ultimate goal of fully funding a primary school in the developing world.

It is being organised by The Park Federation, which runs eight schools in Hillingdon and Slough including Cranford Park Academy, Lake Farm Park Academy, and Wood End Park Academy, all Hayes, and West Drayton Academy.
Events will include a fashion show, cinema night, picnics in the park (end-of-schoolday family picnics on the school field), lunchtime carnival discos, a sponsored readathon, Mendi patterns (hand and body painting with henna) and a nail bar.
The plan is for it to become an annual event.
