EALING Blues Festival returns to Walpole Park for its 32nd year on Saturday and Sunday, July 21-22, noon-11pm each day.

Headlining this year’s shows are the Rolling Stones tribute act, The Counterfeit Stones, led by the swaggering Nick Dagger.

The band will be playing a host of favourites only a stone’s throw from the Ealing Club, where the original Stones were born 46 years ago.

Rock grass pioneers Hayseed Dixie will be taking headline duties for the other night with their adrenalised take on classics such as Ace Of Spades and Eye Of The Tiger, alongside their own original material.

Swing fusion trio Kitty, Daisy and Lewis will also be on the bill, ensuring this is one of the festival’s standout weekends.

A supporting cast of the international, national and regional blues talent will accompany the headliners across three stages, with food stalls and beer tents to keep everyone refreshed.

On the Sunday, there will be an opportunity to set the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest guitar ensemble, performing David Bowie’s Heroes, in aid of brain tumour research.

Ealing Blues is one of the 2018’s Ealing Summer Festivals, a series of six separate events in the borough throughout the months of June and July.
