Police have arrested a suspected drug dealer during a raid.
On Wednesday this week, police arrested a 20-year-old man from Luton at an address in Cassiobury Park Avenue on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He has since been bailed pending enquiries.
A second man was also arrested for failing to appear at court in connection to an unrelated matter.
Following the raid and further enquiries, a quantity of drugs and cash were recovered from an address in Luton.
Watford chief inspector, Matt Phillips, said: “Our officers are constantly working to build intelligence around those who are suspected of being involved in drug supply. If you are, it is only a matter of time before we catch up with you.
“Drugs and associated criminality blight local communities and we will continue to crack down on offenders and bring them to justice.
“If you suspect drug activity in your neighbourhood, please report it so that we can gather the evidence we need to take appropriate action.”
