THE Northwood-Pinner branch of Rock Choir invited Dogs Trust West London to a rehearsal following the death of one of their members.
It was Lyn Westerman’s favourite charity, so the singing group decided to have a collection in her memory.
Choir member Amanda Mackie said: “Joining the choir gave Lyn a renewed lease of life and she loved attending our weekly rehearsals.
“Lyn adopted two dogs from the West London re-homing centre, so the charity was very close to her heart. We’ll miss her very much.”

Choir leader Simon Reynolds added: “We sang a little rendition of Shut Up And Dance With Me, a happy song we often sing in rehearsals and enjoy, in memory of her.”
Former Dogs Trust West London resident Goose the dachshund puppy, who has now been adopted, went along with staff to meet the choir, and enjoyed lots of fuss and attention.
The Harefield centre has already re-homed more than 300 dogs this year. You can contact the centre on 0300 303 0292.
