Watford General Hospital
A hospital trust has confirmed it is investigating an incident in which a “vulnerable” patient was allegedly thrown against a wall by a nurse.
A complaint was made that a woman in her mid-30s was thrown against a wall by a male nurse at Watford General Hospital during the evening of May 31.
The person making the complaint claims the incident was witnessed by doctors.
A West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust spokeswoman said: "An investigation in to the alleged incident is currently underway in conjunction with the safeguarding team and, in line with policy, anyone involved will be informed of the outcome once concluded."
