SINGER Una Healy is supporting McDonald’s Happy Readers scheme at its North Acton restaurant, which has a designated ‘parking’ spot for children’s imaginary creatures and friends.
The initiative is inspired by the Roald Dahl Incredible Creatures books that are being given away in every Happy Meal .
Now in its fifth year, the Happy Readers Scheme has distributed 61million books to children since 2013.

Mum of two Una, former singer with The Saturdays, said: “Roald Dahl’s amazing stories transported me to wonderful imaginary worlds with incredible, imaginary friends when I was little, and now they do the same for my children. Reading is such an important bonding time for me with my children.”
The imaginary creature ‘parking’ is open until Thursday, which is the annual celebration of the story teller.
