THE police are now looking for a woman who may have information about the fatal hit and run in Ruislip this weekend.
A woman aged between 25 and 35 went to Uxbridge Police Station yesterday at 7.15pm and told officers she knew something about the collision.
She left the station without giving any details and the police are appealing for her to contact them as soon as possible.
A 67-year-old man was found lying in Victoria Road at the junction with West Mead in the early hours of yesterday morning after being hit by a car which failed to stop.
He was taken to Hillingdon Hospital suffering from multiple injuries where he later died.
