THERE is an opportunity for a creative and responsible Hillingdon resident to become a community trustee.
The post, to be filled in July, requires someone to consider grant applications and represent the trust. He or she would also attend on six bi-weekly board meetings to discuss projects and events for a term of three years.
Anyone with experience of working with charities or communities, or sitting on various boards, should fit the role, though previous experience is not required for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual.
The minimum commitment is an average of six hours every other month, as well as attending bi-monthly evening meetings and reading grant and board papers.
The trust is keen to attract someone from across the borough’s diverse communities and to attract younger people, though you must be over 18.
