HILLINGDON students visited the House of Commons after creating adverts to promote sexual well-being.

As part of the Sex Factor ideas competition, they designed adverts for the London-wide competition and reached the finals.

The five pupils of Bishopshalt School created Bird and Bee and Charlie and Jordan text speak adverts.

The pupils were taken on a tour of the Commons and Lords, guided by Baroness Joyce Gould, and discussed the traditions and history of Parliament.

The competition, which aimed to promote sexual health awareness, invited London’s young adults, aged 16-25, to create a promotional campaign that was then voted for by other Londoners.

The NHS London Sexual Health Programme funded the competition, with the pupil’s two designs being awarded bronze (Charlie and Jordan) and silver (Bird and Bee advert) status at City Hall.
