Feeling Proud: the awards are part of an ongoing campaign
THE winners of Hillingdon’s People’s Choice Awards were announced last week.
Projects receiving the most votes from borough residents were improvements to children’s play areas in Pine Gardens, Eastcote, and Shenley Park, Ruislip.
They will share up to £50,000 from the Chrysalis programme, which funds improvements to the borough.
They were chosen from a shortlist of five in a public vote which ran from August 20 to September 12.
There was a record number of votes this year.
The award is part of Hillingdon’s Feel PROUD campaign.
