THE new Chief Executive of Hillingdon Council is to be Fran Beasley, the current deputy.

She said: “I’m very pleased to be given the opportunity to take on this role in a high-performing council, which is rightly proud of its record for innovation, efficiency and putting residents at the heart of everything it does.”

The appointment is subject to formal approval by the full council on November 8.

She replaces Hugh Dunnachie, who retires next month following a nine-year career at Hillingdon.

Fran Beasley joined Hillingdon in 2008 from Westminster City Council, where she was Director of Policy and Performance.
