THE annual Hillingdon winter night shelter is looking for more volunteers.
The shelter will run from January 21 to March 3, as it has for the last six years.
It provides food, warmth, and beds for up to eight homeless men each night of the coldest weeks of the year.
It is staffed by an experienced manager who needs a team of volunteers to help with activities, serve meals, play games, stay overnight or just be there to chat over a cup of tea.
Donations of hats, gloves, warm clothing and shopping vouchers would also help towards the cost of providing meals.
Hillingdon Council, Trinity Homeless Projects, local community and church groups team up every year to open the shelter.
If you would like to volunteer or make a donation, call Lauren at Trinity on 0208 7979 500.
