Head appointed for new Heathrow Aviation College
A PRINCIPAL has been appointed for the planned new Heathrow Aviation Engineering University Technical College in Northwood.
He is Bryan Berry, who spent 13 years in the RAF before qualifying as a teacher.
HAE UTC will occupy a £10m building on the site of Northwood School, off Potter Street, with facilities designed to provide its students, aged 14-19, with the best learning experience in aviation engineering.
The UTC is partnered with Brunel University, Uxbridge College, Hillingdon Council, QED Academy Trust and major employers British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Heathrow Airport and RAF Northolt.
An open event to showcase the new school will take place in the World War Two Bunker at RAF Uxbridge on November 6 from 6-8pm.
