HILLINGDON volunteers are being sought by Meningitis Now for a charity challenge, Trek the Lake District, which involves tackling eight peaks above 3,000 feet in just two days.
Accommodation, meals, transport and the services of a qualified and experienced safety team will be provided.
Registration for the event, from September 4-7, is now open and costs £75. Participants are asked to pledge a minimum of £500 in sponsorship.
