UXBRIDGE residents are invited to attend a meeting to discuss Hillingdon Council’s new food waste recycling service.
They can find out more about the progress of the recycling service, introduced last October, as well as the benefits of signing up.
The meeting will take place tomorrow (February 6) in Committee Room 6 at the Civic Centre, 7:30pm-9pm.
Meetings for residents and street champions are part of Hillingdon’s Feel PROUD campaign which aims to promote ways in which people can get involved with decisions in their community.
Councillor Douglas Mills, Cabinet Member for Community, Commerce and Regeneration, urged people to consider volunteering as street champions to help voice local concerns to the council.
