Tube strike: drop-in office space available in Hillingdon
HILLINGDON workers affected by the Tube strike are being urged to make use of flexible workspace across the borough.
Six sites in Uxbridge, Heathrow and Hayes offer a haven for workers unable to get into work, or who are allowed to work from home.
As well as private desks, the offices also include WiFi access, a basic kitchen and unlimited tea and coffee, with car parking available nearby.
John Spencer, UK CEO at Regus, said: “The Tube strikes don’t have to mean lost productivity for businesses, but they are a wake-up call for those who haven’t adopted flexible working and addressed the practical challenges.”
Workers are able to drop in to any of the sites for an £8 fee per day. Alternatively, a Businessworld membership gives members unlimited access to all 220 work spaces across England and costs £35 per month.
