CHILDREN'S education charity Wings of Hope is offering Hillingdon youngsters the chance to pick the brains of young top professionals.

First to take advantage are pupils from ACS Hillingdon International School, Northwood College and Merchant Taylor's.

Wings of Hope runs projects in the UK, India and Malawi and its aim is to empower through education.

A speed mentoring session will give 500 students, including the Hillingdon pupils, two hours of ten-minute advice sessions with more than 60 professionals at the Royal College of Surgeons in Holborn this Saturday.

It will offer access to industries such as accountancy and actuary, engineering, fashion, HR, journalism, law, medicine, music production, sustainability and teaching. Representatives from these industries will be present on Saturday.

The event is targeted at those aged 14-20 and teachers across the UK have been keen to sign up their students.
