DID you help an elderly lady when she fell close to Hayes End Recreation Ground? If so, we have been looking for you!

When Maureen Walters was injured earlier this month, she was helped by three kind people before an ambulance arrived to take her to Hillingdon Hospital.

Mrs Walters, 78, of Angel Lane, Hayes End, was walking by the recreation ground at about 2pm on March 2 when she stumbled and broke her wrist and sustained cuts and bruises.

Now, she would like to thank those who came to her aid.

"Mo can only remember that her three Samaritans were a woman and two men who were kind enough to help," said Keith Rozelle, her son-in-law.

"She would like to record her thanks to these people and says they will remain in her prayers forever!"

Maureen, now back at home, is recovering well, though she is suffering from anxiety about the incident.

She is being supported by her children, Tracy and Christopher, along with daily visits from Hillingdon Council’s ReAblement Team in an effort to get her back to normal.

Mrs Walters has been fully independent since her husband of 46 years, Frank, passed died eight years ago.

If it was you who helped Mrs Walters or you know who it is, please contact son-in-law Keith Rozelle on 07473 760627.
