Hillingdon Council is encouraging residents to brush up on their foreign language skills with an adult learning course.
The five-week courses are offered in French, Spanish and Italian and cover all the essential holiday phrases you need to know, from how to pay for drinks and meals to booking a hotel or asking directions.
They start on May 10 and will run from 10am-1pm each Saturday at Brookfield Adult Learning Centre in Park Road, Uxbridge.
Residents who want to learn a new language, but in their own home at their own pace, can also sign up to a virtual learning course. Virtual learners have access to Skype tutorials and online inter-active materials.
These short recreational courses are designed to complement the formal language qualifications offered by Hillingdon Adult Learning.
