SCHOOLS, sports clubs and community groups in the borough are set to benefit from a new £400,000 grant fund launched by Hillingdon Council.
Grants will be awarded to projects that extend the range and scope of local sports activity, such as paying for extra specialist coaching, new equipment, venue hire or transport to places like swimming pools.
Hillingdon completed its £50m investment in leisure across the borough this year and has also finished an extensive enhancing Ruislip Lido, with residents saying how much they welcome the improvements.
The £400,000 grant fund is available now. More information and application forms are available from the council’s sports development team by on sportsdev@hillingdon.gov.uk
