FAMILIES in Hillingdon are celebrating the fact that 84% of children received their first choice of primary school, thanks to a £149m borough investment in school expansion.
Statistic show the number of children who received one of their top three schools has jumped to 96%, an increase of 2% from last year’s admissions figures.
Like many boroughs in London, Hillingdon has seen a continued increase in demand for primary school places.
The school building programme, the largest of its kind in London, has largely been achieved through the expansion of existing schools and the planned building of three new schools in For more information about the post allocation process visit www.hillingdon.gov.uk/schooladmissions
