A GET Down and Dirty event is being held at The Nuts Challenge army assault course in Surrey, in aid of Michael Sobell Hospice in Northwood, on Saturday, August 30, at noon.
The hospice is looking for fit and athletic men and women (over 18) who are nuts enough to take on a 7K (four-mile) obstacle course in the mud.
Places for this popular event are now closed, but MSH has 30 charity places for those who register before the end of May.
It is not for the faint-hearted. The Nuts Challenge course is owned and run by ex-Parachute Regiment soldiers and is designed to push individuals to their absolute limit.
Located at Dorking in Surrey, the course has more than 100 obstacles, including Hell River, Hamburger Hill, The Bunker, Tunnel Rats, Kamikaze and A Bridge Too Far.
Those who enrol must pledge to raise at least £300 in sponsorship for hospice care. Participants will be given a branded item to wear and help with creating an online fund-raising page with JustGiving.
