OPERA is coming to the Great Barn at Manor Farm in Ruislip for the very first time.

The stunning medieval building, originally built in the 12th century and now owned and managed by Hillingdon Council, will host an acclaimed production of Mozart’s tragic-comic opera Don Giovanni on Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29.

Classically-trained singers from touring company Opera Vera are bringing this production to the Great Barn, fresh from its Covent Garden premiere. It will be sung in Italian with English sub-titles.

Don Giovanni is an opera in two acts, based on the exploits of the legendary seducer Don Juan, which was written by Mozart in the late 18th Century.

The council is encouraging anyone planning to attend to enjoy a picnic in the grounds of Manor Farm before the show starts at 7pm. The bar will open an hour before the performance.
