AN American break dance group touched down in Uxbridge last week ahead of a performance tomorrow (Tuesday) at Pield Heath House School for children with learning needs.
ILL- Abilities is an American group, whose members have all gone through extraordinary challenges to create a troupe for dancers with different disabilities.
With members from Canada, Chile, Holland and the US, they have been dubbed a ‘super crew’ of disabled dancers and will be staging a workshop for students to spread their message of “No Excuses, No Limits.”
Luca “Lazylegz” Patuelli, founder of ILL-Abilities, said: “We are excited about the opportunity to work with the students at Pield Heath House.
“Giving our youth the opportunity to express themselves through dance and finding they discover a new passion is priceless!”
Pield Heath House offers day, residential and short breaks for students aged seven to 19 who have moderate to severe learning needs.
Sponsored by the U.S Embassy, ILL-Abilities is using the tour to motivate students in England.
