Want to give your child a head start in his or her development? The Rhythm and Rhyme classes at Botwell Green Library in Hayes aim to do just that. Through story time, songs, rhymes and simple crafts, the class aims to get children socialising and building on their language and listening skills. Suitable for those under two, the session takes place from 10.30-11:30am and is free.

Hillingdon Ramblers offer walks throughout the week, but their summer programme looks to take advantage of the longer days, with led walks of around 5-6 miles, finishing with an optional pub supper. They will also take some time out to discuss their careers and take questions from the audience, while refreshments will be served at the end.
