HILLINGDON residents are invited to Meet the CCG, a quarterly event that keeps people informed of what is happening in their local NHS.

CCG is the Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group, which now commissions health care for people in the borough. It is largely made up of GPs and other health professionals.

Dr Ian Goodman, its chairman, said: “These meetings are a good way to find out how the local community feels about issues that make a real difference to people’s lives.

“The evening starts with a short presentation on the latest developments and improvements being made by NHS Hillingdon before opening the floor to discussion about local health issues.”

Ceri Jacob, Chief Officer of Hillingdon CCG said: “I strongly encourage people from across the borough to come along and discuss how we can make local health services better for everyone.”

The next meeting is on Wednesday, December 10, 7-8.30pm in Committee Room 6 of the Civic Centre.

There’s no need to register for the event - just turn up. Refreshments will be provided.
