Selfie stick: drawing visitors to the Young Enterprise stall
ST HELEN’S School in Northwood raised an £8,963.46 at its Christmas Calendar sale for nominated house charities, including Children in Need, Ataxia UK, Michael Sobell Hospice, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, Watford Hospital Radio and British Red Cross.
A large turnout on the day meant Santa’s Grotto was not the only attraction with queues – as all helpers at their stalls were kept busy.
Funds continue to be raised from sources such as a silent auction and the eventual total is likely to exceed £9,000.
