HILLINGDON people are invited to take a dip in a new temporary swimming pool in the borough, with some swimming sessions being offered for free.
Hillingdon Council has teamed up with the Amateur Swimming Association and Total Swimming to introduce a pool at Belmore Primary Academy, Owen Road, Hayes, for 12 weeks.
Everyone is welcome to use the pool, which opened this month.
The pool is funded by the council and the school, whose pupils have use of it during school hours.
Saturday sessions are free and other sessions cost £2. All must be pre-booked.
Activities include conventional lessons, as well as aqua fitness, single gender, community group and adult-and-child sessions.
Bookings can be made at www.totalswimming.co.uk/make-a-splash or call 0161 763 2224.
