DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a woman in Hillingdon on Friday tonight (Monday) arrested a man they were seeking.

Gibson Mazikana, 41, is in custody at a West London police station on suspicion of murder.

Earlier, police had made a public appeal to trace him. He had last been seen on Friday at about 10.40pm at South Ruislip station, boarding a London-bound train.

Mazikana is also wanted for failing to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday, when he was due to be sentenced for causing actual bodily harm to a policeman.

It was 11am on Friday when police were first alerted to reports of a woman injured at a home in Collingwood Road.

She was suffering stab injuries and later died.

The woman has been named as Emily Munemo, 42, of Collingwood Road.

Another man, aged 35, was arrested in Hayes on Friday on suspicion of murder. He has since been bailed until mid-March.
