YOU can blast off on an astro-nutty adventure or take a walk on the wild side as Intu Uxbridge shopping centre launches its annual kids club next week.

They can enjoy a half-term of space-age adventures from Sunday to Wednesday (February 15-18).

Budding explorers can also go bananas with an extra three days of jungle-themed activities, taking place on the Thursday, Friday and following Saturday (19-21).

Themes are linked with the upcoming DreamWorks animated adventure Home, released in cinemas on Friday, March 20.

Craig Higgins, marketing manager at intu Uxbridge, says: “Last year’s storybook characters topic was a fantastic success for our Kids Club.

"However, this year we have introduced our new jungle and adventure theme to keep children entertained.

“Exploring different lands is a big theme for intu Uxbridge this year and there will be plenty of arts and crafts for the kids to get stuck into.

“From making their own aliens to creating safari animal ceramic pots, there will be something on offer for every young adventure seeker!”

Children are invited to attend a range of creative events and workshops throughout February, taking place either in the Space Zone, the Intu Jungle, or both.

The Kids Club activities run each day from 11am-4pm.
