FOUR guns were seized by police on Tuesday in three separate operations across London, including one in Hayes.
Following that raid, one man was arrested.
Ali Hussain, 23, of Townfield Road, Hayes, is charged with possession of a firearm, of class A drugs and ammunition.
He later appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court and was remanded to appear at Kingston Crown Court in March.
Other raids were carried out in South East London and at Horn Lane, Acton.
Det Chief Supt Gordon Allison said: "These arrests and seizures are an example of officers from Met specialist units acting on fast-time intelligence, and they highlight the bravery of police officers in confronting armed criminals who pose a high risk to the local community.
“We are committed to protecting communities from gun violence and bringing those involved to justice."
