A FILM-LOVING student from Hayes interviewed rising British star Taron Egerton (The Kingsman, Testament of Youth) as part of her role as a young reporter for the nationwide education charity, Into Film.

The charity aims to help young people learn through watching, making, discussing and experiencing film first hand.

Eronita Bequiri, 17, who attends Uxbridge College, was whisked off to Aberystwyth to meet the actor, who was back home to attend a screening of The Kingsman.

Eronita chatted to the star about his career in film and sought advice for aspiring actors such as herself.

The interview will be featured on the charity’s YouTube channel (http://youtu.be/g34kjz6m42Q0 and http://youtu.be/7VM9JJaeeJE), which is aimed specifically at engaging a teen audience with film.

Eronita has been involved with Into Film since its launch last year, when she interviewed Oscar and BAFTA winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything, My Week With Marilyn) at her former school, Westminster Academy, as part of the charity’s launch.

She has also interviewed actors Jeremy Irvine, Sir Ben Kingsley and Helena Bonham Carter.

Into Film is inviting schools to start a film club for free. Visit www.intofilm.org/schools-film-clubs or call 0207 288 4520.
