JOHN McDonnell will be serving a fifth term as MP for Hayes and Harlington after securing another strong majority.
He won 26,843 votes, shrugging off competition from the Conservative candidate, Pearl Lewis, who came second.
The Labour MP has now held the seat for 18 years, since taking it from the Tories.
He was the only candidate in this election to live in the constituency.

Mr McDonnell has pledged to continue the fight against a third runway at Heathrow.
At a hustings last month, he said he believed the time was ripe to kill off the expansion plans for good.
He has been a vocal critic of the last government’s reforms of the NHS and supports Labour policies of committing an extra £4.5bn to the NHS and ending privatisation.
In March, he was one of a cross-party group of MPs who met the Health Secretary to request an urgent £100m investment for Hillingdon Hospital.
A decision on the bid is expected this year.
