A NEW Barnardo’s store has opened in Ruislip – and the children’s charity is calling on volunteers to help establish it in the community.
The shop, which launched on Monday at 145-147 High Street, stocks a full range of clothes, books, entertainment, home ware and bric-a-brac and is a three-minute walk from Ruislip Underground station.
Area business manager Gemma Godson said: “The Ruislip community store is in a great location on the High Street and we’re putting together a terrific team of volunteers who can help us establish it in the neighbourhood.
“If you would like to play a part in that, please get in touch.”
