TALENTED young performers from a theatre arts school in Northwood will star in their own West End show this weekend at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
Seventeen pupils from Stagecoach Theatre Arts School will join other groups from across the country to perform a set of songs, including hits from Fame, on Sunday, June 21.
Principal Madeline Godfrey said the show would be a great opportunity for her students to show off their talents to a wider audience.
This is the group’s fifth performance at Her Majesty’s Theatre, but, for those pupils heading off to university, it will be their last.
“They have grown up with Her Majesty’s,” she said. “There will be a few tears on Sunday.”
Stagecoach Theatre Arts was founded in 1988 with the opening of schools in Richmond, Redhill and Woking.
There are now more than 600 theatre arts schools worldwide, offering classes in singing, acting and dance to pupils aged 6-18.
