DADS took to ‘the wheel’ at the weekend as Father’s Day was celebrated at intu Uxbridge shopping centre.
Centre of attraction was intu’s Giant Digital Scalextric and John Grundy, from Uxbridge, recorded the fastest time of 58 seconds, beating the competition by a clear four seconds to take home an iPad Mini.
There was a free bottle opener gift for every Dad joining.
For shoppers buying last-minute gifts, intu Uxbridge had a charity gift-wrapping service in-centre, run by intu staff to support the Michael Sobell Hospice.
The fun continues this weekend at intu’s summer party with appearances from Basil Brush, Britain’s Got Talent stars Bailey Mcconnell and James Smith, Ryan Green from The Voice, plus fun and games.
