A WOMAN involved in a road collision in Hayes last month has died of her injuries.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the collision five weeks ago, following the death of the 65-year-old yesterday.

The injured pedestrian was taken to an east London hospital by London's Air Ambulance.

She has not yet been formally identified, though the next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem is due to take place.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the incident on Wednesday June 17. No one has been arrested at this time.
