TWO thugs who assaulted bus passengers in Hillingdon are still at large nearly four months after the attacks.

Police have now released CCTV images and are appealing for further information to identify a man and a woman following two separate attacks on the same day in October.

The first happened in the early hours of October 4, 2015, on a Route N207 bus on the Uxbridge Road towards Hayes.

A 34-year-old man was repeatedly punched, leaving him unconscious and with limited vision for weeks afterwards.

The suspect, who fled before police arrived, is described as a white man aged between 20 and 25, of slim build, with short curly hair and a scruffy beard.

Later that day, at around 2.40pm, a 35-year-old woman had her hair grabbed and was punched in the head by a teenage girl on a Route 427 bus at Hillingdon Hill.

The woman had complained that a group who had boarded were holding up the bus by arguing with the driver.

The attacker was physically restrained by fellow passengers while the victim got off the bus and sought refuge in a nearby pub.

But the group pursued her and the same teenager then threw a bottle which cut the woman’s face and left her requiring stitches.

The suspect is described as white, aged between 13 and 15, with long blonde hair. She was wearing a black top and grey trousers.

Anyone with information about either incident is urged to contact Detective Constable Alastair Middleton on 07909 877121 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
