A team from PHD Modular Access Services Ltd in Denham are donning their Santa suits and running one mile to support Michael Sobell Hospice at its forthcoming festive Santa Dash fun run, taking place on Saturday 3rd December in Northwood.

The company has chosen the Mount Vernon Hospital-based hospice as its ‘Charity of the Year’, so along with getting in the Christmas spirit by taking on the challenge, the company will be giving its support to the local cause throughout 2017.

Fundraising activities have included selling seasonal toys in the reception area to staff and visitors, as well as sponsorship of the Michael Sobell Hospice Charity’s (MSHC) volunteer thank you party to be held in December.

“It’s not too late to help paint Northwood red and join in this fantastic event,” said Laura Kaye, MSHC Marketing Officer.

“Companies, large or small, can take advantage of a special team offer of just £10 entry per person (half price) on sign up of ten or more people, before Wednesday 30th November. Entry fee includes a free Santa suit.”

Dashers will register at Northwood Methodist Church, Oaklands Gate, at 11.15am, and will set off at Midday from outside the Michael Sobell Hospice Charity shop on Green Lane.

Mince pies and hot drinks will be a welcome treat back at the hospice on completion of the challenge.

The Charity needs to raise over £1.68 million pounds each year to provide specialist hospice care to local people in the Hillingdon borough and surrounding area.
