A 77-year-old man is in critical condition following a road traffic condition in Hayes yesterday.

Police were called to a collision between a car and a pedestrian at 6:25pm on Monday, January 16 in Uxbridge Road.

The pedestrian was treated by the London Ambulance Service at the scene before being taken to a west London hospital – his next of kin have been informed.

The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton Traffic Garage are appealing for any witnesses that did not contact police at the time to come forward.
