It is hoped women of all ages and abilities will use free access to facilities or take part in new classes today.

“We are very much behind this celebration and are looking forward to inviting all women from the community into our centres,” says Everyone Active Contract Manager, James Bowden.

“It is important for us to make fitness accessible to everyone and we hope that this variety of free options will introduce more people to a healthy, active lifestyle.”

Northolt Leisure Centre will be offering a free-swimming pass to the large 25 metre, 8 lane swimming pool from 10am to 6pm.

Southall Sports Centre will be offering a free day pass which gives access to the large mixed gym, and the females only gym which holds 20 cardio stations, 12 resistance machines and free weights section with a stretching area.
