Ickenham Youth Football Club have got the ball rolling for new kits after a donation from a business.

Taylor Wimpey West London has donated £575 to the club to purchase new kits for the U9s team.

Ben Burlikowski, Trustee for Ickenham Youth Football Club, says: “Taylor Wimpey’s sponsorship has enabled us to purchase brand new training tops, shirts and shorts for the players in one of our U9s teams.

“Normally the club would fund new kit, so it makes a huge difference to us to have this support from Taylor Wimpey and it’s really helped out as the boys were starting to grow out of their old kits.”

The team will be sporting a brand new royal blue strip to match the club colours, adorned with the Taylor Wimpey logo.

Ben said: “Having sponsorship like this enables us to invest our funds in different ways, such as specialist coaching and better pitches for training.

It also gives businesses an opportunity to connect with the local community. We’d be delighted to hear from anyone who would be interested in supporting our club further.”

The team will don their brand new kit as they compete in the Harrow Youth Football League.

Emma Jones, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West London, said: “We’re delighted to lend our support to Ickenham Youth Football Club and help the U9s team continue to feel proud to represent their club.”
