Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for witnesses and information after a motorcyclist died following a collision with a car in Hayes.
Police were called to Uxbridge Road junction with Wesley Road, Hayes at around 12.50pm on April 1 following reports of a serious road traffic collision.
Officers attended along with other emergency services and found the motorcyclist, a 38-year-old man, injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.12pm - his next of kin have been informed
A post mortem examination is to be scheduled.
The driver of the car, a man in his 50s stopped at the scene. He has not been arrested.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating.
