Dogs Trust West London is appealing for a loving home for Fudge, a five-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who came in to the charity last December and has since had five homes fall through, all for reasons beyond his control.

Fudge has been at the rehoming centre for five months, during which more than 250 of his four-legged friends have found their ‘pawfect’ homes.

Staff are now hoping that Fudge will soon be on his way to a ‘furever’ home.

Richard Moore, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Harefield, said: “Occasionally we see a dog have their new home fall through but it’s very unusual for it to happen five times.

“Fudge is an active boy who loves being out and about, followed by snuggles on a sofa.

“Once you’ve built a bond with him through his love of food, Fudge loves being around people and will become your best friend!”

Looking for active and understanding owners who will give him time to adjust to his new surroundings, Fudge would benefit from continued positive reward-based training with his adopters.

Fudge would like to live in a household with a garden to call his own and children aged 12 and above.

Although initially he’d like to be the only dog in the home, once settled he could reside with a female four-legged friend.

If you think you could be Fudge’s good luck charm, please call Dogs Trust Harefield on 0300 303 0292 or visit www.dogstrust.org.uk for more information.
